Mission 23

Mission Details | Spread holiday cheer!

Hello + welcome to our twenty-third collective mission.

The holiday season is just around the corner! That means a lot more gatherings to attend + a lot more people to see + care for. Do your part to spread holiday cheer + not the spread of respiratory illnesses. Virginia is already seeing an increase in respiratory illnesses, so remember to stay up to date on your vaccines including the bivalent booster. If you do get sick, there are treatment options to prevent severe illness. Let’s review who’s at risk + what can we do to help in Mission 23!

⛑️ How to support:

🎄Spread holiday cheer! Accomplish your mission by sharing easy-to-dowload shareables for the holiday season

🎉Celebrate safely. Understanding your COVID-19 risk + the risks that might affect others can help you make decisions to protect yourself + others.

🤒 If sick, what are your options? Learn about the COVID-19 treatments available to prevent severe illness + share your knowledge - especially with those with high risk of severe illness.

📲 To be featured in the Mission 23 status update + recap, provide your feedback + let us know how you share. (Feedback form is now closed for Mission 23)

🎄Spread holiday cheer!

First things first, spread cheer not germs! Cooler months mean a likely rise of COVID-19, the flu, + other respiratory illnesses as more people gather indoors - specially for the holidays. Help us slow the spread of these illnesses + encourage all of Virginia to have a safe holiday season with easy-to-download shareables + suggested captions.

 🎉Celebrate safely.

We know it is a time to celebrate + be with loved ones, but how do we do it safely? Understanding your COVID-19 risk + the risks that might affect your loved ones can help you make decisions to protect yourself + others. Check out CDC’s list of factors that raise your risk + things you can do to prevent from getting sick.

As always, remember to wash your hands, get tested, stay up to date with your vaccines including the bivalent booster, + stay home if you’re not feeling well.
